5 days in Tahoe

Eric flew out for a week and after a weekend here in Livermore with some volleyball, we headed off to Tahoe for the week.  We had a fabulous time seeing the lake and visiting some special houses from the early 1900s.  Thursday morning Eric had a special surprise for me!!!  It was a wonderful trip full of adventures!

Vinkingsholm - a private house built on Emerald Bay
The living room
 Looking out the front door
 Looking in the window
 Looking at the house!

Thunderbird Lodge - on the east side of the lake
The view
 The Lodge
A wall hanging from a later owner...
 Inside the lodge
 The Thunderbird boat
The gazebo that overlooks the PRIVATE lagoon!

Enjoying the lake even if it is a tad cool out

Having dessert - AMAZING WHITE CHOCOLATE ICE CREAM and a glazed pear.

In the lake!

Mini-Golf adventures! - This hole shot your ball out of a canon.

SPECIAL SURPRISE = TRIKING!!!!!  Triking is power-hang-gliding
See that little white dot?  That's Eric!  We were gliding about admiring the lake - I was really piloting!!!
 Landing back in Carson City.
 On the ground again!
