Lots of updates

In April - I went to Pittsburgh to see Rebecca (Eric's sister) graduate with her BA in Nursing.  I had a great time staying with her and being part of the festivities.

May 8th - I officially passed the edTPA exam - my last exam for the NYS teaching certifications.

The past week has been one full of surprises and very busy!!
- I got engaged!!!  Eric proposed on Sunday in Central Park and doubled the surprise by having a guest photographer with him!  https://www.flickr.com/gp/76555621@N02/8Cmzf8/  In the evening Andy, Dana, Mom and Dad all arrived and found out the big news.  Plus, they got to see a lot of photos too!  https://www.flickr.com/gp/76555621@N02/2wem7N/
- Monday and Wednesday we attended NYU graduations for my MA.
- Tuesday we went to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island.  Here are photos from Monday-Wednesday : https://www.flickr.com/gp/76555621@N02/584M5W/.
- Wednesday afternoon/evening and Thursday morning - my mom and I (though mostly my mom) packed my apartment up in a set of bags and Andy, Dana, Dad, and Mom few off with them back to California.
- Thursday night, Eric and I attended a Gala at the MET and then went to Brandy's Piano Bar - one of the top 6 piano bars in NYC.  It was a fun night.

- Friday, Eric and I walked across the Brooklyn Bridge!
- Saturday, Eric and I did a morning walking tour of Greenwich Village before running Eric off to the airport to catch his flight back to California!

I have just under two more weeks here in NYC.  Then I'll be moving back to California!
