Adventure 1

Last Night I went out with Claire, Megan, and Mallory to the Irish Pub. We stood hung out and talked among ourselves for the most part. We left at the time I needed to leave. I needed to be at the tram stop before 12:30 to be able to make it back to my house. I get on the tram, right on time. There's a woman surrounded by people in one part of the train panting, gasping, and the works. It sounded terrible. I guessed giving birth or a heart attack... Well, the train didn't leave like it was supposed to. Eventually they made everyone get off and they said they were shutting down that tram. An ambulance had arrived. I followed along with a theater group that is here for the festival today and we walked 2 stops before a tram caught up to us. As I passed the section of the tram wit the woman, it looked like they were preforming CPR. So, I'm going with heart attack.

I got on that tram and then off of it at the stop that I needed to switch stops. Well... I had taken the tram later than I was supposed to 'cause of the dying woman, which meant I had missed the last tram at my stop by about 6 minutes. It was just after 1am. The stop I was at is on campus and the place that I live isn't very far from campus. Now, I'm sure it would be really easy to get to my house and rather fast, if you know your way around. I don't yet. So I followed the path that the tram I wanted would have taken. I got back to my house about 20 or 25 minutes later or so. At this point all I need to do is get in the house. Whoever made French keys and made them so difficult to use, should be shot. I spent at least 5 minutes trying to unlock the front door. I had meant to practice so the first time I did it wasn't in the dark, but hadn't. I did manage to get inside, so all is well.

So, I've decided that after this I can do anything, right? I didn't get lost... I found my way back to my house toute seule without a map (granted the tram stops have these little maps, so I did know I was going the right way... but we can ignore that). I've got to say though, it was exhausting.

Today there is a theater festival, which should be interesting.
