Thursday, after finding my Paris hotel, I headed of to the
Cité Universitaire – a university housing community on the outskirts of
Paris. It was rather beautiful and now
we can just wait and see if that’s where I am going to live next year or not!
Friday, I had an appointment with NYU-Paris to see my new
campus! I met with one of the academic
planners and learned a lot about my program for next year and got to see the
school! It should be great! After my appointment, I wandered around
NYU-P’s area and over to the Eiffel Tower.
Saturday, I didn’t have any plans and ended up going on a
4-5 hour walk through Paris since it was so beautiful outside.
Sunday, I spent the day in Versailles with Kallie, Philippe,
and Amandine. Amandine is so cute! She was a little fussier Sunday than normal,
but still adorable. Kallie and I agreed
that being cute even when crying is a baby survival mechanism.
Monday morning I hopped on a plane and off I went to SFO –
there were some delays and a missed connection, but 24 hours after I left my
hotel, my plane landed in San Francisco!
