Montpellier – Saturday, April 7th through Wednesday, April 11th

As I mentioned, I swung out to Versailles on Saturday morning to drop off a few things and… to see her little baby!!! I spent 2 or 3 hours there looking at Amandine (the baby) and talking with Kallie’s parents who were visiting her for 2 weeks. That afternoon, I headed down to Montpellier on the train.

Easter Sunday, I headed off on the new tram line in Montpellier to the beach with my friend Alane. It was a relaxing way to spend the day!

Monday, I relaxed and read a book before heading off to a special art exhibit in the area.

Tuesday, I got to have lunch with Bérèngère (my homestay mom from 2010) and catch up a bit. Later, I had dinner with Anne (my boss from 2010) and her son. I helped her set up a few things for her son who will be doing his sophomore year at the Marine Military Academy in Harleton, TX! He is super excited!

Wednesday, I went to a photograph exhibit with my friend Alane on Pittsburg in 1955. It was pretty interesting. I was surprised to find something on America by chance, but apparently that particular museum often does exhibits on America.

I had dinner at Bérèngère’s with her and her two Mexican homestay boys. I had forgotten how much she can talk! It was definitely nice to see her again!
