Taking my week a little slower!

My week was pretty normal.  It was back to work since the public school vacations were over.  My classes have been going really well.  It really helps that the students have a much higher level of English than last year.  They all see very motivated to work with me.

I got a few of my midterms back and did quite well.  I still have a lot to work on, but everything is coming along.  I wasn't able to attend photo club this week, but instead had the chance to attend a conference on Mary Cassatt, who was an artist.  It was a very interesting lecture.  I was happy I got to attend!

Weekend has been pretty normal, just doing work and getting to talk a bit with my parents and Eric.  However today was a Sunday of firsts :

1. Jumped the metro entrance since the gates didn't work (I have a month pass, so it's not like I didn't pay or something).
2. Attended an organ concert by Winfried Bönig at Church Saint-Sulpice - I particularly enjoyed the Bach pieces he played.
3. Used my new mini umbrella (since my old one broke)
