Week 7 - end of half vacation

This was my second week off from work.  I tackled 3 midterms and took the week slow!

Tuesday I went to a special museum exhibition that was set up in a "Belle Epoque" apartment design.  It was pretty small, and no photos were allowed inside, but fairly interesting.  It made for a nice little outing.

I actually got to go to a photo club meeting this week and they were sharing photos and discussing  their visions in photo-shoots.  It was interesting to see people's top 5 photos.

Wednesday was the first time our Independent Guided Reading class met.  It's only a one unit class this semester, so we're only meeting 4 or so times.  It was interesting to hear everyones SUPER VAGUE AND HUGE research ideas for our theses for the year.  Since we haven't been able to get the teacher to talk to us about the class or our research interests for guidance - we were all a bit lost!

This morning I ran a few errands.  Went grocery shopping, renewed my train pass, and hunted down a place to fix my watch - the battery died and I couldn't even open it to see what type of battery to get!!!  This evening, I treated myself to a "Goodbye 23" tarte au chocolate and then packed up for my school trip this weekend!

 I don't know how my mom knew! - I was just thinking I needed one of the magic rub jar openers - my honey pot lid can be tough to pop off!
