Long week... 3 hours of fun.

Thursday late afternoon, I met up with a classmate, Lisa, to go shopping.  There are a few little sales going on and a swim suit that had caught my eye.  (Yes - a few snow flakes fell Thursday afternoon... but the idea of warm weather is so comforting.)

We went to ETAM, possibly my favorite French store so far, to check out their "Lovely Week" as they call it - no translation.  I found a cute shirt and a great dress there.  The swimsuits looked good on the hangers, but weren't amazing - so I passed.

Then we wandered downtown... and we wandered... and we wandered... until... we stumbled upon a store : Kiloshop (69-71 rue de la verrerie, 75004 Paris).  This place was amazing.  It is a giant thrift store where you buy items by weight.  Each article of clothing has a colored security clip and each color corresponds to a price per kilo.  I found a very trendy skirt and a cool safari style dress.  I'm looking forward to going back in a few weeks!

I didn't buy this... but had to take a photo...

While I wait for the weather to warm up a bit more so I can wear my new dresses, I will be enjoying my skirt with tights and my shirt with a long-sleeve underneath!
