Christmas

Pictures from Rebecca's visit can be found here:  http://flickr.com/gp/76555621@N02/QH56Uh/

Christmas morning was a little slow after our late night and dinner, but I surprised Rebecca with a little Christmas stocking before surprising her with a special croissant and tea breakfast.  After breakfast we opened presents - Rebecca hadn't noticed that the 3 presents under the tree had her name on them, so she was extra surprised!  She really liked her infinity scarf, hand warmer, and gourmet notebook I had picked out for her!  I definitely got a few fun things - special teas, pancake mix, French themed books, dark chocolate kit-kat bars, an infinity scarf, and cool Parisian pillow, and a running pack to motivate me to exercise in the cold weather!

Then we got ready and headed off to the Christmas markets.  We started at the Eiffel Tower and Rebecca saw it for the first time as we did the Christmas market at Trocadero.  Then we went and wandered through the Christmas market on the Champs Elysée with a side outing in Tuileries.  It was pretty beautiful out!  Then we headed back to eat some Belgium stew I had prepared.

At the markets, I picked out a cute barrette and two really cool cups for candles!
