Weekend – Saturday, October 6th and Sunday, October 7th

It was a pretty basic weekend.  Saturday I did a lot of hw and ran a few errands.  At night it was the Nuit Blanche, which is a huge French art festival that goes all night.  I went out around 9 and came home a little after 11.  I listened to a concert preformed on the Centre Pompidou and went through an eerie exhibit in a dark cathedral.

Sunday I went to my Sunday markets and got fruit and veggies for the week.  I also picked up a scarf (I realized that all my scarves clash with the majority of my clothes) and a little potted plant.  I made the people around me chuckle and smile when I asked if any of the plants were “easy to keep alive”…  The women sold me a cute pink flowery plant that doesn’t need to be watered too often!  Other than that, my day was mostly filled with homework.  I did get to watch the second half of my class film, but had to take different metro lines than normal since the 9 was shut down due to a suspicious package.

There is just so much to do…
