Where is the time going!! – Friday, Dec. 9th

While getting ready for the weekend in between classes I realized I’m almost on Christmas vacation and haven’t finished all my planning – I don’t have all my maps and directions to my hotels and hadn’t thought at all about packing! I still have plenty of time, but it seems like this past week didn’t exist!

My classes went well today – one of the most amusing moments was about this image:
We had talked about a number of different images and we had made sentences, which were written on the board. Since no one took notes… I erased everything… and had them pick their favorite image (the image above). Then they had to write two sentences about this photo (we had done 2 sentences together about it). I collected the work.

One student wrote the following: “The woman is stealing the duckling for money.” Obviously not what is happening… but if you just read the sentence – hilarious!
