I had four hours of classes today. In two of the classes I did my Halloween presentation, which seemed to go pretty well. I had half of each class for 30 minutes, so in total I gave my presentation 4 times already this week (only… 9 more to go I think?). In one of the other classes, I listened to them prep for their oral exams and gave them tips; in the last one, I had them describe the image of IHOP I mentioned last week – it went better this time, though most of it was me giving them vocabulary for the kitchen. I think I was just more prepared/understood their levels better today. All of my classes today were pretty good.
In between classes, I made a Dr. Seuss and “There’s a Wocket in my Pocket” presentation to give at the middle school after the vacation; the presentation might take a number of days… so I’ll have to clear it with the teachers. During my second break, I made myself a salad for lunch (the NCIS (in French mind you) episode I tried to watch didn’t play all the way through and had glitches – it was one I’d never seen too!).
After I finished my classes, I went off to grab a few things at the grocery store for the week. Because the sun is still shining, I took some photos on my way back to the dorm. (I’m hoping to get a few photo albums up soon!) Once back, I ran off to find someone to show me how to print and now, I have maps from my arrival-train station to my hostels in Belgium! I’m starting to get all set up for my trip!
