It is quite cold here Oct. 9th

I didn’t do much today. I stayed inside all day, where I was still cold. I got to do a little Skyping, which was very nice. The biggest thing of note was that Françoise’s older daughter, Emma (this is different than the Emma who is a German teacher at the middle school), came out this weekend and I got to meet her. She very much likes to speak in English to me, and I don’t know if she does it to practice or because she thinks I wouldn’t understand (though there were times when I didn’t understand and the English explanation helped immensely). She was very nice. I might be able to take a few weekend trips to Paris and stay at her place after the New Year.
