Today was long but went pretty well. I went off to Metz for my weekly University lectures – which I seemed to follow much better than last week’s lectures. In between the classes, I had lunch with Léa, a French student from my Linquistic class at the Uni. After lunch we ran a few errands I had → buying a phone that works – still figuring out how… but it’s a start; buying stamps; and she showed me a great little book in a bookstore, which I bought – it is all about German conversation… so hopefully it’ll help me out this weekend!
After my classes, I caught the train back and finished my stew from Tuesday before running off to a free Salsa class with Emma (German teacher at the middle school) and William (the assistant before me at my schools). It was a lot of fun, but a late night!
Overall, it was a pretty good day.
