Where does Saturday go…? – Saturday, Nov. 26th
I never know where my time on Saturday slips off to when I’m not traveling!! I know that technically I did a lot of work today, but it doesn’t feel like I got very much done.
Today was Jennifer’s birthday party (one of the English teachers at the middle school). It was a sugar themed party and there were tons of sweets! It was nice to go out for an evening and talk with a few different people – I stuck with people from the middle school, but not ones I knew before that evening. A number of people had brought their kids (since Jennifer’s were there too) and it was adorable to see 4 five year old boys running around all night, but it sure startles you when one runs into your legs under the table! I was joking with a few of the people that my brother was on the birthday cake - there was a doll in a Stanford red speedo... It was amusing.
Another lazy Sunday – Nov. 27th
I slept in today since I didn’t get back from the party until 1am. I’ve mostly been taking care of a few little things for classes, trips, etc. Picked up a magazine to read in my free time…. Which is increasing – so I’m on the hunt for new things to do and work on.
